Today I went to the doctor and, of course, I had to climb on that dreaded scale!
It read 70.5kilos, which is 155 pounds.
(70.5 multiplied by 2.2 for pounds)
Not bad considering I started out at 167 pounds.
Ok, I was a little shocked, shocked at how easy it was to lose 12 pounds in one month. Perhaps it is water weight?
When I decided to *really* do something about my weight, exactly 4 weeks ago,
I wanted to share the whole ugly fat truth and see what transpired. This is the result.
I don't think I have done anything special, I still drink my morning coffee with sugar and cream, I still indulge in coca-cola, I eat relatively well, and have been walking a little bit more, but nothing major, as I am a lazy person, something I am working hard to overcome. I still feel the same though.
My current goal is 135, however, for my height, it should really be 110, that's according to Rush University Medical Center. 110 pounds? REALLY? Egad! But, but, but.... I'm LATIN! One pound at a time, that is my motto!
3 New Things I have Learned
1. Avocados with balsamic vinegar and salt is the food of the GODS!
Directions: cut in half, take out the seed and pour the vinegar in the hole, add salt and eat with a spoon. Soooo good AND good for you!
2. One pound at a time!! Slow and Steady, baby.
3. I am OBESE!!! YAY! I am happy about that because I am NO LONGER MORBIDLY OBESE! At my HEAVIEST weight, I weighed 215 pounds, with a BMI of 42. Today, my BMI is 30.3 which puts me in the OBESE catagory, yet only .3 away from being OVERWEIGHT! Yeeehawwww! <--- That's my Texas coming out in me!
Bonjour et Bienvenue!

Frenchified for Life
is a fabulous little lifestyle blog about truly embracing French life!
My intent is to simply inspire you to create something unique and beautiful in your everyday life. The French have this wonderful and annoying habit of seeing the world through rose colored glasses, might as well learn something from them!
That said, I lift my glass to you!
By the way, I mention the name Cachou (or The Cash) a lot, I'm referring to her...
