This week has flown by and guess what... I gained 3 pounds.
My reaction to this truth was simply acceptance.
Instead of having an emotional outburst, I grabbed my camera to document it, then I put on some sunscreen, some lipstick, and finally, my workout clothes. I also grabbed our tennis rackets and The Cash and we headed outdoors to enjoy the spring sun.
As I have mentioned in a previous post, I have been feeling blue and have fallen off the wagon... (ate one too many nachos... can't help it, hello... nachos!)
Some days are better than others, however, TODAY IS THE DAY that I have decided to get back on track.
Just recently, I have decided to enlist the help of a professional, mainly a counselor.
I feel I must straighten out some issues and add some additional communication tools to my toolbox and I just know it will translate to better health!
In the meantime, talking a stroll in the city, playing with my dog and playing tennis today really helped me enjoy life's little pleasures!
Check out some of the goodies I saw along the way... plus, my handsome husband and my sweet puppy!
After an hour of tennis play, my handsome husband took me out for lunch. How kind!
Check out the resto he invited me to... its called the
Grand Bar Castan, very quaint.
Our meal! I ordered the one on the left, called a galette forestière.
It is made with mushrooms, onions and bacon served in a salted crêpe, very good!
My sweet husband ordered a landaise salad, made with gizzards, slices of duck and duck thighs. Despite how it sounds, it is delish!!!
Until next week, I wish you good health and spirits!
Bonjour et Bienvenue!
Thank you for stopping by for a spell!
I am a 40-something year old American woman. Born in Texas, raised in Las Vegas!
Frenchified for Life
is a fabulous little lifestyle blog about truly embracing French life!
My intent is to simply inspire you to create something unique and beautiful in your everyday life. The French have this wonderful and annoying habit of seeing the world through rose colored glasses, might as well learn something from them!
That said, I lift my glass to you!
By the way, I mention the name Cachou (or The Cash) a lot, I'm referring to her...
