My dog is French and is soooo French!
My dog is quentessentially French!
She was just born that way!

What seems like a ordinary 'lapdog' encounter, actually reveals a lot more.
First, notice the coat: well groomed and every hair in its place.
French people take pride in taking care of themselves.
Her position: sits at attention with grace, and appears to be relaxed.
French women were taught at a young age by mirroring their mothers on how to have poise; it is something that is organic as The Divine.
She is also cuddled up with a complete stanger, again, you can see that she is at ease, but if the moment moves her, she is able to leave the situation, because she is sitting at attention.
Her facial cues: ears forward at attention, face relaxed.
French people have a similar expression. It expresses 'nothing is wrong, nothing to see here!' This sentiment, among many others, have the same verbal expression, 'ça va!' (sahhh-vahhhh)
It was said that animals teach us how to be human.
Perhaps I should start mirroring her!?!
