The word salad use to invoke negative feelings for me.
I would imagine a cow grazing.
Now... perhaps the grass is a little greener here in France.
I experienced another way of eating salads, because they looked similar to the photo on your left -- instead of one made with iceberg lettuce, fake bacon bits and a thin wilted cucumber, which is typical all across America.
So, try this salad instead.
It's so good, your body will say
NEEDED: Tomatoes, olives, 1 hardboiled egg, cheese (pictured here is goat cheese, however feta, mozzarella, even swiss may substitute, and your favorite!) balsamic vinegar and pepper
Cut, mix, spinkle some pepper, drizzle on the vinegar
Do not add salt, the olives provide it.
Bonjour et Bienvenue!
Thank you for stopping by for a spell!

Frenchified for Life
is a fabulous little lifestyle blog about truly embracing French life!
My intent is to simply inspire you to create something unique and beautiful in your everyday life. The French have this wonderful and annoying habit of seeing the world through rose colored glasses, might as well learn something from them!
That said, I lift my glass to you!
By the way, I mention the name Cachou (or The Cash) a lot, I'm referring to her...
