Jen's Favorite Go-To Recipe
Hello my fellow foodies!
Today I am going to share with you one of my favorite go-to recipes that I am sure everyone in your family will enjoy!
It is super duper easy and tastes divine.
You probably know how to make this already, however I am going to share it with you anyway, and if you don't, well, honey, you are just missing out!
The French call this pot au feu, which translates to pot roast or beef stew. It's slow cooked for several hours and you will know when it is ready because your whole house will smell like heaven! The meat is so tender it just falls apart, and every veggie you add to the stew will compliment each other. So, without further ado...
Pot au Feu
Recipe for Two
Beef round or chuck
4 medium sized potatoes chopped in quarters
1 celery stalk chopped & pick off a few celery leaves for flavor
1 carrot peeled & chopped in rounds
1 bay leaf
half a bouillon cube
salt and pepper to taste (add when served)
